Mel Brooks – 94

Mel Brooks is an American actor and filmmaker known for his broad film comedic parodies and farces. He started his career as a writer for the variety show Your Show of Shows from 1950 to 1954. Together with Buck Henry, Brooks wrote the hit television series Get Smart, which aired from 1965 to 1970. He eventually became one of the most successful directors in the 1970s, with numerous films among the top 10 moneymakers of the year at the time of the release. Some of his best-known films were The Twelve Chairs, The Producers, Young Frankenstein, Blazing Saddles, High Anxiety, Silent Movie, Spaceballs, and Robin Hood: Men in Tights.

In 2001, he joined a small list of EGOT winners, having won an Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, and Tony Awards. Brooks was credited with a Hollywood Walk of Fame, a Kennedy Center Honor, a British Film Institute Fellowship, a National Medal of Arts, a BAFTA Fellowship, and the 41st AFI Life Achievement Award. Brooks is currently 94 years old.
