Neil Diamond – 80

Neil Diamond is an American singer-actor who has sold more than 100 million records worldwide and is widely considered one of the best-selling musicians of all time. His songs Cracklin’ Rosie, Longfellow Serenade, Song Sung Blue, I’ve Been This Way Before, Desiree, If You Know What I Mean, You Don’t Bring Me Flowers, America, Heartlight, and Yesterdays Song were all number one singles on Adult Contemporary and Hot 100 charts. Overall, there were 38 songs by the 80-year-old singer that were featured on the Top 10 of Billboard Adult Contemporary charts.

The singer-actor was later inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Songwriters Hall of Fame and was credited with Sammy Cahn Lifetime Achievement Award. Diamond was also an honoree at the Kennedy Center Honors as well as a recipient of the Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award. The Library of Congress chose his 1969 signature song Sweet Caroline for preservation in the National Recording Registry for being historically, culturally, or aesthetically significant.
