Morgan Freeman – 83
Morgan Freeman has appeared in a wide variety of film genres where he portrayed character roles. He’s particularly known for his distinctive deep voice. He’s also the recipient of several awards, including a Screen Actors Guild Award, an Academy Award, and a Golden Globe Award. Freeman studied theatre arts in Los Angeles. Soon after, he appeared in stage productions early on in his life, initially rising to fame in the ‘70s after his participation in the children’s series The Electric Company. The actor also appeared in plays like Julius Caesar and Coriolanus, in which he was credited with an Obie Award.
In 1987, Freeman landed his breakthrough role in the 1987 film Street Smart as a hustler. He gained an Academy Award for Best Actor nomination. He starred alongside fellow Hollywood actor Clint Eastwood in the western revenge film Unforgiven. Some of the famous films that the actor starred in were Invictus, Million Dollar Baby, Shawshank Redemption, and The Dark Knight trilogy.
