Richard Chamberlain – 87

George Richard Chamberlain is a singer and actor whose name blew up when he was just a teen and landed the titular role in the TV series Dr. Kildare, which aired from 1961 to 1966, making him a teen idol back in the days. He also earned a Golden Globe for Best TV Star – Male because of the show. He then appeared in numerous TV series, including Shogun in 1980 and The Thorn Birds in 1983, where his performance earned him two more Globes. As a singer, he almost got his hands on a Grammy Award after being nominated for his performance in Hamlet for the Birmingham Repertory Theatre.

In Richard’s autobiography Shattered Love: A Memoir, he revealed his homosexuality. He was also romantically involved with TV actor Wesley Eure in the ‘70s. When he was 43, he met a guy named Martin Rabbett and eventually had a relationship from 1977 to 2010.
