Pierre Cardin – 96

Pierre Cardin, also known as Pietro Costante Cardin, is one of the most iconic figures in the fashion industry. He was born in Italy who eventually received French naturalization, and he’s known for his works as a fashion designer. Cardin spearheaded the fashion industry that worked with Space Age designs and avant-garde styles. He also worked with geometric shapes and motifs, and he often ignored the female form. You could say that Cardin was a genius when it came to fashion.

Cardin mastered his craft and eventually ventured into unisex fashion styles. Although his designs were sometimes experimental and not always practical, he was able to introduce the “bubble dress” in 1954. He certainly works like an artist who drafts his masterpiece when it comes to coming up with a design. Today, he’s now 96 years old, and we’re hoping that he’s got a good health insurance policy that he can rely on.
