Ali MacGraw – 82

Ali MacGraw isn’t just a pretty face, but she is also a formidable actress with a solid industry record. In 1969, she home the Golden Globe Award for Most Promising Newcomer, thanks to her performance in Goodbye, Columbus. This early success led to many opportunities, including international acclaim after she starred in the film Love Story. Her stunning delivery of the role got MacGraw an Academy Award nomination for Best Actress that same year.

She continued this streak all through the 1970s, but despite her success, the actress would eventually take a six-year hiatus from the industry. It was a risky move, considering she was at her peak and many producers were willing to make investments in her. These days, however, she keeps busy by promoting her advocacies. She’s a U.S. Ambassador for animal welfare and was even honored with the Humane Education Award from New Mexico as thanks for her hard work.
