KIM NOVAK – 88
Kim Novak is a former actress in Hollywood. Her career beginnings were in 1954 when she signed with the studio Columbia Pictures. She subsequently starred in movies such as Picnic, Pal Joey, and The Man with the Golden Arm, among many others. Kim was best known for Alfred Hitchcock’s thriller Vertigo as JudyBarton/Madeleine Elster back in 1958. She starred alongside distinguished actor James Stewart. Throughout the years, Novak has also worked with Fred MacMurray, Frank Sinatra, Kirk Douglas, and Laurence Harvey.
During her mid-30’s Kim would decide to step away from the limelight and only do projects from time to time. And after her performance in the 1991 film Liebestraum, she would altogether retire from acting. Her iconic rise in the industry has earned her two Golden Globes and an Honorary Golden Bear Award to her credit. Novak is currently 88 years old and is still enjoying her retirement.
