George Robert Newhart, also known as Bob Newhart, is one of the best stand-up comedians in America. He is widely recognized for his deadpan delivery style that just sends his audiences into a burst of laughter. Newhart rose to stardom back in the sixties when he released his album of comedic monologues called The Button-Down Mind Of Bob Newhart. This is still the 20th century’s bestselling comedy album of all time. Newhart obviously needed to follow it up with a new album. Shortly after his first album, he released The Button-Down Mind Strikes Back!, which was just as successful.

Newhart graduated from Loyola University in Chicago with a bachelor’s degree in business management. He even went to law school for a while, until he decided it wasn’t for him. Thankfully, comedy found him. As of 2021, he is now enjoying his retirement with a jaw-dropping net worth of $65 million.
