ALAN ARKIN – 87

Alan Arkin has made a mark in the entertainment industry for more than five decades. Arkin leaned more with acting since his childhood. He attended colleges for his degree and to hone his craft. Arkin’s performances in the classic film, The Russians Are Coming; the Russians Are Coming impressed audiences, earning him major award nominations for Best Actor. Later in his career, his performance in Little Miss Sunshine, released in 2006, won him an Oscar and a BAFTA Film Award. Six years later, his performance in Argo won him a Screen Actors Guild Award, along with numerous nominations, including an Oscar nomination for Best Supporting Actor. Recently, Arkin has appeared on The Kominsky Method, garnering him praise.

Aside from acting, Arkin has also done some directing work. Among his most notable include Little Murders, Fire Sale, and People Soup, with the latter being his directorial debut and got him an Oscar nomination. In addition, he had written many books and even ventured into music, mostly performing folk through his band The Tarriers.
