Angela Lansbury – 95

British-American actress Angela Lansbury’s career has spanned close to eight decades. Though much of her work has been focused in the United States, she is also well-loved internationally. Lansbury is also one of the last surviving performers from Hollywood’s Golden Age. Contrary to what some might believe, she began her career in New York City. This is because their family had to move to the United States in order to escape from the Blitz. They arrived in 1940 and the actress was signed with MGM just two years after. She got her first film role in Gaslight, which was released in 1944.

From working in film, she later shifted to performing in musical theatre. Her role in Mame earned the actress her first Tony Award. Since then, she has received numerous other honors, including being made a Dame Commander by Queen Elizabeth II. Through investment planning when it comes to her career, Lansbury has created an impressive legacy for herself.
