William Shatner – 90

William Shatner, a Canadian actor, is best known for his portrayal as Captain James T. Kirk in Star Trek: The Original. The series was conceived by Gene Roddenberry, and it launched the Star Trek franchise, which currently includes seven spin-off TV shows, two animated series, and thirteen films. Before gaining fame for his part in Star Trek, the Montreal native was a regular in the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation’s radio shows. He eventually went to college, finishing with a bachelor’s degree in business from McGill University.

Later in his career, the actor experimented with humor, most notably in Sandra Bullock’s 2000 smash movie Miss Congeniality and its sequel Miss Congeniality 2: Armed and Fabulous. The actor, who is now 90 years old, is loved by Star Trek fans all over the world for his role in the sci-fi behemoth, which later on inspired George Lucas’s equally popular sci-fi franchise Star Wars.
