Max Baer Jr. – 83

Max Baer Jr. is best known for playing the nephew of Jed Clampett, Jethro Bodine, in the American series The Beverly Hillbillies on the CBS network from 1962 to 1971. Baer’s first acting role was in 1949 in Goldilocks and the Three Bears, held at the Blackpool Pavilion in England back in 1949. Baer began his professional acting at Warner Bros in 1960. He made appearances on television shows such as Hawaiian Eye, Maverick, Surfside 6, The Roaring 20s, Cheyenne, and 77 Sunset Strip.

In 1962, Baer’s career took off after being included in the cast of the series The Beverly Hillbillies. During the nine-year run of the series, he landed several roles on other television programs such as American Style, Love, Vacation Playhouse, and the western A Time for Killing. Baer is the only surviving cast of The Beverly Hillbillies. Apart from his acting career, he also has several business investments like casinos and hotels.
