O’Hara is a multi-awarded Canadian-American actress who started her career as a part of the comedy enterprise The Second City in Toronto. Moreover, she hosted two episodes for Saturday Night Live in the early 1990s and had a short-lived career as a cast member before solidifying her regular appearance over at SCTV Network, a sketch comedy show in Canada. She was also an Emmy-winning writer for the network and then received a massive following when she transitioned to television series and films. Overall, O’ Hara had a successful run in film and continues to be a force in the industry at present.
