FRANKIE VALLI – 87
Frankie Valli has been in the industry for nearly seven decades. He first began his music career in 1952 with the band’s formation, which eventually became the Four Lovers in 1956. In it, he was the frontman. They achieved modest success with their song. You’re the Apple of My Eye being a minor hit. The group soon reformed in 1960, renaming it The Four Seasons, with Valli as the frontman. The band’s most famous songs include Walk Like A Man, December ’63, and Let’s Hang On. Valli’s high-pitched voice made the band quite famous and endured the game-changing British Invasion of the 1960s.
In addition, Valli also embarked on his solo career. One of his most famous songs as a solo artist is Can’t Take My Eyes Off You. While the song has been covered multiple times and may be assumed to be sung originally by others, Valli is given credit as the one who sung initially it. Today, Valli continues to perform under The Four Seasons, albeit with a different lineup.
