Bob Barker was quite an athletic kid during his school years. Thanks to that, he had the chance to go to college under a basketball athletic scholarship. Besides his talent in sports, though, Barker was also very intellectual, which becomes all the more apparent when he graduated summa cum laude with a degree in economics.

While he started his career in the radio scene, where he had the chance to run his very own Bob Barker Show, Barker has since garnered widespread recognition for his work as a TV game show host, notably for The Price Is Right. With that said, he also hosted a couple of Miss USA and Miss Universe pageants. Outside the spotlight, Barker lives a relatively modest lifestyle and resides in his Hollywood home. Along with being its resident for more than three decades already, the property has also received the honor of being one of the city’s historic monuments.
