You would probably no longer recognize Drake from when he was on Degrassi: The Next Generation as he has leveled up his game. Since he released his mixtape Room for Improvement in 2006, his fame has shot up. One of his commercially successful mixtapes, If You’re Reading This, It’s Too Late, even reached multi-platinum status. Drake also takes credit for co-founding founding OVO Sound, a record label.

As far as houses go, Drake likes them all in California. In 2012, he purchased an over-the-top residence for $7.7 million. This southern California estate also boasts the reputation of being the “YOLO” estate. He called it as such because he got for a third of the asking price! He fell in love with the house to the point that he even had a custom sign made, but the property already experienced break-ins three times in the past. Thoughtfully, Drake should have installed a CCTV camera or a home security system.
