TIM MCGRAW – FAITH HILL

They’re two of the most successful country music couples, and their love story could teach us a piece or two on how to make love last. TimMcGraw and Faith Hill first met at the New Faces showcase during the 1994 Country Radio Seminar. There was an instant connection, and they both felt it. However, they were both seeing other people at the time, so it went nowhere.

Their paths crossed once more when Hill performed as the opening act for McGraw’s Spontaneous Combustion Tour. She was engaged to Scott Hendricks, while he had recently broken off his engagement to Kristine Donahue. While the time wasn’t great, neither singer could deny that they had a connection. McGraw took action on his initiative. The couple wasted little time in moving their relationship further. In 1996, they got engaged backstage at a music festival and married on October 6, 1996. With more than two decades under their wings, the twosome continued to bow their music investments with tracks such as It’s Your Love and Let’s Make Love.
