CYNDI LAUPER – DAVID THORNTON

Despite settling down together quite later in life at age 38, Cyndi Lauper and David Thornton have been together happily for the past three decades. They first met back in 1991 during the taping of Off and Running, which both starred in. Immediately, Lauper and Thornton clicked and dated just two weeks later. Just a few months later, on November 24 of the same year, they tied the knot. Despite how fast their relationship quickly moved up to marriage, their bond has stood the test of time for 30 years and counting. The instant love, at first sight, can be given credit to such enduring love between the two.

Together, Lauper and Thornton have one child: son Declyn Wallace, born in 1997. While Lauper is well-known for her illustrious music and acting career, Thornton has also established a successful acting career. Their son also went down the path of music, like his mother, and goes by Dex Lauper when performing.
