True love finds its way to you, as the cliché goes, but it’s rarely as literal as it was for George and Amal. In July 2013, the pair met at the actor’s Lake Como residence. A mutual friend dropped by with Amal in tow while en route to Cannes. George requested Amal to visit him at the legendary Abbey Road Studios while supervising the soundtrack for his 2014 film The Monuments Men. Things escalated quickly since then. The pair married in September 2014, just over a year after their first date. George and Amal have settled into married life, continuing to work in their respective areas and spending time together at their homes in Los Angeles, Italy, and England.
