WOODY ALLEN – SOON-YI PREVIN
Woody Allen launched his career as a comedy writer, stand-up comedian, and playwright. Allen’s first movie screenplay, What’s New Pussycat?, was followed by his directing debut, What’s Up, Tiger Lily?, released the following year. Before co-writing and directing his first huge hit, 1977’s Annie Hall, he directed Take the Money and Run and Sleeper, in which he co-starred with Diane Keaton.
Allen and Soon-Yi Previn didn’t have the typical start to their relationship. Most people find it challenging to reconcile Allen’s transition from stepfather to a loving partner. Furthermore, they cast doubt on the timing of events. On December 22, 1997, Previn married Allen in Venice. They have two daughters, BechetDumaine Allen and ManzieTio Allen, whom they adopted together. Since then, Previn has devoted her adult life to being a wife and stay-at-home mother. Over the years, they continued to prove their degree of love and respect to one another.
