JAMIE LEE CURTIS – CHRISTOPHER GUEST

Jamie Lee Curtis may be most remembered for her credits as Laurie Strode in Halloween, but her life tale is lovely rather than scary. Curtis and Guest also appear to have fate on their side. Before they even met in 1984, the actress glimpsed her future husband while paging through a copy of Rolling Stone that featured Guest promoting his film, Spinal Tap. Although we know she was dead on, their romance didn’t take off immediately. Curtis attempted to contact Guest through his agency, but he did not return her call.

They did, however, run into each other at a restaurant not long after. Guest phoned her the next day, and they went on their first date a few days later. Only five months after their first date, the pair married on December 18, 1984. We like this couple’s incredible love story — and the fact that they’ve managed to keep it going for so long.
