JON STEWART – TRACEY MCSHANE

Among the many credits that you can give Jon Stewart, you can include the one-woman man. He is only married once, and it is to Tracey McShane. The pair met when the comedian was filming the 1997 movie Wishful Thinking. A production assistant set them up on a blind date, and from here, their relationship blossomed. Knowing how innovative and strategic Stewart is, he used the most creative thing to propose to his then-girlfriend. How? Simple, he used a crossword puzzle. Who would not have fallen for that?

Of course, McShane gave her sweetest yes. The couple tied the knot in the early 2000s and received a blessing with two kids, Nathan Thomas and Maggie Rose Stewart. They are now in their teenage years, though it remains to be seen if they have plans to follow in their dad’s footsteps. One thing is for certain, though, Stewart and McShane may now have planned their education so that they will never need any student loans when they grow up.
